The Center for Aging Studies Application and Research (YASAM), operating under the Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University Rectorate, is a multidisciplinary and academic institution established in 2020 (Official Gazette Number: 31168, dated 27.06.2020) by the decision of the University Senate and announcement in the Official Gazette. It carries out its educational and research activities with the voluntary contributions of faculty members from the Faculties of Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Education, Health Sciences, Science, Literature, and Economics and Administrative Sciences.
