Visit from the Presidency of TÜMGAZİDER Burdur Branch to our Center for Aging Studies Application and Research

President of the Turkish Combat Veterans Association (TÜMGAZİDER) Burdur Branch, Mr. Hasan OKYAR and Cyprus Veteran Eyüp ÖZTÜRK visited our Center for Aging Studies Application and Research located within the MAKÜ Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences Building. During the visit, as a sign of their respect and appreciation for our institution, the veterans presented their commemoratives to MAKÜ YAŞAM Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Deniz SAY ŞAHİN.

The meaningful visit took place in a sincere atmosphere with mutual conversations. Mr. Hasan OKYAR and Eyüp ÖZTÜRK shared important turning points in their lives and their experiences related to being veterans and received information about the studies conducted by MAKÜ YAŞAM. After being invited to all events organized by MAKÜ YAŞAM and expressing their appreciation and thanks for all the activities carried out, they presented their gifts and commemoratives to the Director of the Center for Aging Studies, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Deniz SAY ŞAHİN. Expressing her satisfaction for these meaningful gifts, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Deniz SAY ŞAHİN thanked our veterans.

This visit became an important memory that revealed and strengthened the strong ties of our Center for Aging Studies Application and Research with the community. We thank the Presidency of TÜMGAZİDER Burdur Branch for their kind visit.
